हमारे भारतवर्षका तो बच्चा-बच्चा इस सिद्धान्तको मानता और उसपर अमल करता है। यही नहीं, यह सिद्धान्त हमारे जीवनके प्रत्येक अंगके साथ सम्बद्ध हो गया है; हमारा कोई धार्मिक कृत्य ऐसा नहीं है, जिसका प्रत्यक्ष अथवा अप्रत्यक्षरूपसे परलोकसे सम्बन्ध न हो और हमारा कोई धार्मिक ग्रन्थ ऐसा नहीं है, जो प्रत्यक्ष अथवा अप्रत्यक्षरूपसे परलोक एवं पुनर्जन्मका समर्थन न करता हो ।
