‘ अध्यापन काल में संस्कृत के उच्चश्रेणियों के छात्रों में भी व्याकरण-ज्ञान का अभाव देखकर अनेक बार मेरी इच्छा हुई कि संस्कृत-व्याकरण की कोई ऐसी पुस्तक लिखी जावे जो सरल तथा वैज्ञानिक ढंग से छात्रों को संस्कृतव्याकरण का अच्छा बोध करा सके, जिससे कि वे संस्कृत-भारती के मन्दिर में प्रवेश पाकर वहां की संचित ज्ञानराशि का कुछ उपभोग कर सकें। संस्कृत जैसी प्राचीन समृद्ध तथा व्यवस्थित भाषा को सीखने के लिए व्याकरण का ज्ञान अनिवार्य है। सौभाग्य से संस्कृत भाषा का व्याकरणशास्त्र अत्यन्त वैज्ञानिक तथा परिपूर्ण है, परन्तु प्राचीन परम्परा के अनुसार निर्मित सस्कृत व्या. करण के अन्य स्कूलों तथा कालेजों के छात्रों के लिए अत्यन्त दुबोध हैं, और अर्वाचीन ढंग से लिखे हुए व्याकरणग्रन्थों से संस्कृतव्याकरण का इतना अच्छा बोध होने नहीं पात।। प्रस्तुत पुस्तक (‘सुगम संस्कृतव्याकरण’ ) में प्राचीन तथा अर्वाचीन दोनों प्रकार की प्रणालियों का समन्वय है। इसमें संस्कृत व्याकरण की सभी श्रावश्यक बातों का विवेचन यथासाध्य सरल तथा वैज्ञानिक ढंग से किया गया है।

In the teaching period, seeing the lack of grammar-knowledge among the students of Sanskrit upper-class, many times I wished that a book of Sanskrit-grammar should be written which could make students understand Sanskritization well in a simple and scientific manner, so that they By entering Sanskrit-Bharati temple, we can consume some of the accumulated knowledge there. Knowledge of grammar is essential for learning an ancient, rich, and systematic language like Sanskrit. Fortunately, the grammatology of the Sanskrit language is very scientific and complete, but the Sanskrit vyas formed according to the ancient tradition.
