Palmistry or Chiromancy (also spelled keromancy, which is derived from the Greek words cheir (χειρ) “Hand” and Manteia (μαντεία) (guess)) is the practice of describing signs and predictions by reading the palm. There is art which is also called palm study or palmistry. The use of this art is seen all over the world with many cultural variations. Those who read palms are also commonly called palmists, palm readers, hand readers, palm analysts or palmists.
