आम्ही गड्या डोंगरचं रहाणारं
चाकर शिवबाचे होणार॥ध्रु॥
निशाण भगवे भूवर फडके
शत्रूचे मग काळिज धडके
मावळे आम्हीच लढणार ॥१॥
तानाजी तो वीरच मोठा
लढता लढता पडला पठ्ठा
परि नाही धीरच सोडणार ॥२॥
धनाजी जाधव रणात दिसता
शत्रु पळे प्रतिबिंब बघता
घोडं नाही पाणीच पिणार ॥३॥
बाजीराव तो वीरच मोठा
कणसं खानि लढला पठ्ठा
घोडं तो दौडीत सोडणार ॥४॥
जगदंबेच्या कृपाप्रसादे
संघाचीया आशीर्वादे
म्होर म्होर आम्हीच जाणार ॥५॥
English Transliteration:
āmhī ḍoṁgarace rahāṇāra
cākara śivabāce hoṇāra ||dhru||
niśāṇa bhagave bhūvara phaḍake
śatrūce maga kāḻija dhaḍake
māvaḻe āmhīca laḍhaṇāra ||1||
tānājī to vīraca moṭhā
laḍhatā laḍhatā paḍalā paṭhṭhā
pari nāhī dhīraca soḍaṇāra ||2||
dhanājī jādhava raṇāta disatā
śatru paḻe pratibiṁba baghatā
ghoḍaṁ nāhī pāṇīca piṇāra ||3||
bājīrāva to vīraca moṭhā
kaṇasaṁ khāuni laḍhalā paṭhṭhā
ghoḍaṁ to dauḍīta soḍaṇāra ||4||
jagadaṁbecyā kṛpāprasāde
saṁghācīyā āśīrvāde
mhora mhora āmhīca jāṇāra ||5||

We are folks who live on the fort atop the rugged mountain
We pledge to be followers and disciples of Shivaji maharaj
The bhagwa dhwaj flies atop our land
Our enemies fear us and their pace frantically
We the malwas will fight for our motherland and Shivaji maharaj
Tanaji was a brave warrior
He valliantly fell fighting the enemy
But, he never lost his courage
When Dhanaji Jadhav was on the battlefield
The enemy fled just by seeing his shadow
Even the enemies horse refused to drink water in fear
Bajirao also was a great warrior
He too fought valliantly in the Khansa valley
He was an expert in riding horses
Jagdamba devis’s blessings are with us
And so are the blessings of Sangha ji
We will surely proceed to Mahor

घोडं नाही पाणीच पिणार ॥३॥

कणसं खानि लढला पठ्ठा
He too fought valiantly in the Khansa valley
