महाभारत के कुछ पात्र और उनके जीवन चरित्र लगभग दो तीन वर्षों से मेरे विचारों से निरंतर जुड़े रहे। मंथन कई बार मानसिक द्वंद्व की स्थिति तक भी पहुँचा। आज आदमी छोटी-छोटी महाभारतें अपने घरों में जीवन में, सहता और देखता आ रहा है। इस टूटन, इस बिखराव का असर उसके जीवन में साफ दिखाई देता है। जीवन के अंतिम क्षणों में किये गये कर्मों की निरर्थकता की अनुभूति और अधिक प्रताड़ित करती है। कभी-कभी ये प्रश्न उठता है कि आदमी देख सुन और भोगकर भी नहीं चेतता… मगर क्यों? उत्तर में सिर्फ एक ही शब्द कौंधता है।
‘स्वभाव’, जिसके कारण वह वैसे ही कर्मों की ओर अग्रसर होता है, जैसी उसकी सोच और अंतःप्रेरणा होती है। और फिर जब वह अपने किये का परिणाम भोगते हुए स्वयं का विश्लेषण करता है, तब मन में एक ताप उत्पन्न होता है, जो भीतर ही भीतर उसे निरंतर जलाता है। पीड़ा देता है। मगर उसे सुधारने का समय नहीं देता। जब परिणाम सामने होते हैं, तब बहुत सी बातें अपने आप ही महत्त्वहीन हो जाती हैं।
Some characters of Mahabharata and their life characters have been in constant touch with my thoughts for almost two to three years. The churning sometimes even reached the state of mental conflict. Today man has been suffering and watching small Mahabharata in his life in his homes. The effect of this breakdown, this disintegration is clearly visible in his life. The feeling of the futility of the actions performed in the last moments of life makes it more troubling. Sometimes the question arises that a man does not warn even after seeing and hearing and enjoying… but why? Only one word flashes in the answer.
‘Svabhava’, due to which he moves towards actions in the same way as his thinking and inspiration. And then when he analyzes himself, enjoying the consequences of his actions, then a heat arises in the mind, which burns it continuously within. inflicts pain. But does not give him time to improve. When the results are out, many things automatically become unimportant……..
